About

We speak up for the aerial application industry !

Founded in 1972, the NCAAA serves as the voice for the aerial application industry in the state of North Carolina, representing the interests of businesses and pilots. Our mission is to promote and advocate for the safe, efficient, and professional application of pesticides by air by focusing on safety programs, research, and education for our members and the public.

The NCAAA works in conjunction with the National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) to fight unfair legislation and ease regulatory burdens at both the state and federal level, safe guarding our ability to apply pesticides by air and remain profitable while doing so.

Who are "crop dusters"

Aerial applicators, or more commonly referred to as "crop dusters", are highly skilled aviators that apply crop protection and nutritional products using specialized aircraft to improve yields and limit environmental impact. Modern day aircraft and helicopters feature powerful turbine engines as well as state of the art GPS guidance systems and advanced dispersal equipment designed to ensure precise and timely applications.
